YWS is the best! I don’t know where I would be without it! The people are amazing, I’ve met so many great friends, the reviews are awesome, and it’s just a wonderful place for writers.

It has a new layout, so it doesn’t quite look like that anymore, but this is definitely a cool site for preteens, teens, and college students, especially.

Some features include a poetry and short story database, many writing tips, and lots of forums for posting your poems and/or short stories in for critiques.

Despite some of the particularly awesome websites on this site (seriously, everyone, check some of these cool kids out), the YWS is continually my favourite website, writing or otherwise. The huge potential for young writers’ growth coupled with an amazing community and reviewing forums gives the YWS a bit of an edge against other sites.

Check it out, you won’t regret it.
