Fabulous organization. Great speakers, wonderful retreats and workshops, comprehensive contest database, umbrella organization for many writing circles. Check out their monthly breakfast meetings -- over a hundred writers gather to network and learn and socialize.

I love this place! Lots of stuff going on!
But I'm looking for a place to ask questions such as:
In an author's chosen setting, how closely can the "fiction" be tied to the reality of the setting without violating any laws?
Can streets, institutions, community incidents be named/recalled?
Can characters be fictionalized that were a part of that community's history? Sort of like, "...names changed to protect the guilty..."
Is there such a forum in/at WCDR?
Warm regards, Roger
