This is the website for Contemporary Verse 2: The Canadian Journal of Poetry and Critical Writing. It is a print journal in Canada that is open international submissions, as well as holds the annual 2-Day Poem Contest an annual on line contest which takes place annually in April. The contest is open to both Canadian and international residents. At 35, CV2 is Canada’s only national poetry quaterly and its oldest poetry-only publication. The website includes samples of journal content, subsmission guidelines, contest entry information and also back issue and other information including links for writers.
